Description
Demonstrating the DML DC54150 Digital Caliper
The DML DC54150 Digital Caliper is demonstrated in this video.
- We begin by unpacking the instrument.
- We then demonstrated the instrument’s repeatability on zero by opening and closing the jaws the complete length of the scale.
- We then measured a 25mm gauge block.
- We then changed the reading from metric to imperial and measured a 1″ gauge block.
- After switching back to Metric, we zeroed it at 25mm and closed the jaws to show that there is no drift along the scale.
- We then take measurements with a 30mm ring gauge.
- Finally, we measured a 25mm gauge block using the the depth rod.

Overall, the price point, accuracy and repeatability is great, and the movement/action feels comparable to more expensive models.

Brilliant piece of kit very reliable.

Superb quality for the price, does everything I could ask of it provided that I’m asking for it to measure things less than 150mm long, accurately!

Great for the price, reliable and solid, I have also bought cheap from ebay in the past and they are a waste of money!
No hesitation in recommending if on a budget!

Very good quality caliper, bought a few months ago to replace a Mitutoyo one that gave up after a lot of years, the DML caliper is at least as good at a fraction of the cost, when fully closed with clean jaws it has always read zero, I was that impressed that I have now bought a DML digital indicator, the D125 01 that I will review once I have had it a while
